ABOUT
Andrew Oh is a Korean American filmmaker born and raised in Los Angeles. Currently he is a student at Williams College where he is studying psychology and Asian American studies, and he hopes to continue his love for post production and animation after he graduates in 2025. He joined Ghetto Film School (GFS) in 2018 at the age of 15 where his love of filmmaking grew immensely. Through GFS, he has gained vast experience working on two international thesis films. For the first film, which took place in South Korea, Andrew played a central role in the shoot as the screenplay writer and lead editor, overseeing the project from its conception to the final premiere. The second film was shot in Iceland in August of 2022 where he supervised the sound mixing process. After graduating from Ghetto Film School, the next few years involved him exploring experiences at a variety of production companies. In 2021, Andrew was an on-set production assistant for an HBO show titled “Our Flag Means Death” which is currently streaming on Max. He also joined the Group Effort Initiative (GEI) that same year where he collaborated with hundreds of other filmmakers of color to establish a strong community and network. Andrew was also a post production intern at Blumhouse Productions in 2023 and an animation production intern at The LEGO Group in 2024.
